Morven Mackenzie, Director
Having worked in media for nine years, both as a journalist and a PR consultant, Morven decided to set up her own
business in 2003 and has grown Mackenzie PR year on year since.
Now, with more than 15 years media experience, Morven heads up a team of nine and is responsible for providing strategic guidance to a wide range of clients across a broad spectrum of industries.
Morven is a graduate of The Robert Gordon University, obtaining a BA Hons in European Business Studies With Languages.
On graduation, she compiled and edited the Aberdeen-based Petrodata-owned MACCS newswire, which covered the world-wide marine and coastal construction industry.
She then spent 24 months as assistant editor for a local publishing group in Southampton and in 1998 moved to a hi-tech PR agency in London where she worked for a range of clients including BT, Bull Information Systems and The Post Office.
She joined the Aberdeen office of a global PR consultancy as an account manager in mid-1999 and was promoted to Account Director in 2002 before leaving to set up Mackenzie PR.
Morven is co-convenor of the Grampian PR Group.
