Having switched from journalism to PR, believing the latter would offer a life of free lunches, celebrity launches and champagne receptions, it has taken Morven 13 years to realise this is only partly true!
After working for PR consultancies in both London and Aberdeen, she decided to take the plunge in 2003 and set up on her own. Since doing so, the growth of Mackenzie PR has continued apace and she now heads up a team of seven.
A keen believer in giving back to the community, Morven has always set aside a significant proportion of company time for her and her team to provide voluntary support to a number of worthy causes – a stance which will always remain at the core of Mackenzie PR.
When not looking after her extended family, Morven loves to socialise and is renowned for being the life and soul of the party!
